In-Warranty Repairs
All Swecoin receipt printers carry a one year warranty, all parts
and labor. The warranty period begins on the date printers are shipped
from Swecoin US. Defective products will be repaired or replaced within
2 weeks of receipt. We pay return freight for in-warranty repairs.
We utilize the same shipping method (ground, 2-day, overnight, etc.)
that you used to return printers to us. You must obtain an RMA # (see
below) before returning printers or accessories to Swecoin US.
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
Average turnaround time for out-of-warranty repairs is two weeks.
You pay for return freight. We normally ship via UPS ground. Please
let us know if you prefer a different shipper or method (2-day, overnight,
etc.). The current rate for out-of-warranty repairs is $80/hour, plus
parts. You must obtain an RMA # (see below) before returning printers
or accessories to Swecoin US.
Evaluation Units
Please fill out the form below to request an RMA number. Be sure to
utilize all of the original packing materials to ensure a safe trip
back (see tips below). If you charged the evaluation unit to your credit
card, we will issue a credit to your account as long as we receive the
evaluation unit and all accessories as power supply, cable(s), Floppy
Disk(s) or CD by the end of the evaluation period, and the unit is returned
to us in good condition.
Request for Return and RMA numbers
Please do not return any merchandise to Swecoin US without an RMA number.
You may use the form below to request an RMA number and give us other
information regarding your return. We will process the form within one
business day of receipt.
Tips for Packing Receipt Printers for Return
To minimize the possibility of damage in transit, please follow these
instructions:
1. Always utilize the original packing materials, including foam, bubble
wrap, and original boxes, to re-pack receipt printers and/or accessories.
2. Place re-packed printers and/or accessories in a second, sturdy
container large enough to accommodate all individual boxes plus plenty
of packing materials (peanuts or comparable). You must use enough
peanuts or other packing material so that printer/accessory boxes
are surrounded on all sides and cannot move inside the larger
container.
Swecoin utilizes 2 boxes to ship the printers:
the original package (with foam or cart board material around the printer)
and an outer shipping box. The inner box is not intended to be utilized
for shipment. Always utilize a second box to avoid shipping damage.
3. Clearly write the RMA number you received from Swecoin US on the
exterior of the container. Sorry, we cannot accept returns without RMA
numbers.
