TTP10x0
Driver for Windows 2003/XP/2000/NT 4.0
|
Version: |

|
| Filename: |
Windows 2000/XP/2003: TTP 1_w2k_xp 2007.1.0.zip
Windows NT4: 178_NT4_082003.exe
|
| File Size: |
2K/XP: 404KB
NT4: 627KB |
| Description: |
Note: This driver package requires
firmware 3.20 or higher. Please refer to your product manual
for how to determine your currently loaded firmware version.
If you do not have 3.20 or higher currently installed, upload
version 3.50 (included in the Firmware folder of this package)
first, then install the new driver.
This driver package contains an NT4/2000/XP/2003 driver called
"TTP10x0" and is more advanced than UniTool drivers. For instance,
it prints better images by using gray scale dithering rather
than fixed-pitch raster graphics.
In addition to normal printing, this driver has a "Language
Monitor" that makes it bi-directional so you can retrieve
data back from the TTP10x0. This is necessary because Windows
NT4/2000/XP/2003 does not allow bypassing the printer driver
with API calls as Windows 9x does. So when using a printer
driver without the LM, the printer is mute. Because of the
complexity of programming the LM interface, it is necessary
that you have a good support connection with us. We will give
support if you are a registered user of our NT based driver.
Click
here to register.
Installation
1. If a Swecoin driver was previously installed, please use

knowledge base to prepare for the new installation.
2. Unzip your driver package file.
3. Plug in the printer. If it does not auto-detect, in the
Control Panel, Printers, select "Add New Printer",
select "Have disk", and browse to the directory
where you unzipped the driver files.

TTP10x0 Driver for Macintosh
|
Version: | 1.0.7 |
| Revision Date: | November 29, 2001
|
| Filename: |
macdrivers107.sit
|
| File Size: | 288KB
|
| Description: | This driver package contains an API based driver for the TTP1030 and TTP7000. The Swecoin driver is interfaced to the System using Apple's SerialShim, which installs two dummy drivers into the Driver Table in place of the standard .In and .Out serial drivers. As with all Macintosh drivers that are intended to operate printers, the Read and Write commands are not used. Instead, the data in the form of a bitmap is transferred to the driver using a Control command. The driver can then be used as the device-driver portion of a Choose-type Printer Driver
NOTE
The Swecoin Mac driver is not a Chooser-level driver! Please
see the Driver Manual for more information.
Installation Extracting the .sit file will create a directory with the driver extensions for the TTP1030 and TTP7000, a Parameter Setup utility and a test program. You need to copy the driver extensions into the Extension folder and then you can plug in the printer. The Parameter Setup utility is used to set paper width, etc. You can test the driver functionality with a test program printing a test receipt.

first, then install the new driver.
FLASH MEMORY-MAPPING UPGRADE VERSION
CAUTION! — If upgrading from
firmware versions prior to 3.07, you must first load 3.07
(included here), then after that the version you really need.
This is because the versions 3.07 and up allows for firmware
files larger than the older firmware versions.
When loading a too-large firmware file the on a printer with
3.06 or earlier, the printer will lose it's ability to communicate
and must be sent in for service.
WARNING! – If this happens the printer will be in an
undefined state where components like motors etc. may be powered
and eventually fail so it is crucial to switch OFF the power
immediately.
This driver package contains an NT4/2000/XP/2003 driver called
"TTP20x0" and is more advanced than UniTool drivers. For instance,
it prints better images by using gray scale dithering rather
than fixed-pitch raster graphics.
In addition to normal printing, this driver has a "Language

data back from the TTP20x0. This is necessary because Windows

Installation
This is a Microsoft-signed
(Windows Logo Certified) driver. Previously, when installing
the driver, a Security Warning box would appear, telling you
that the driver is unsigned and you would have to manually
dismiss the dialog. With a signed driver, this is not necessary.
You may perform unattended, completely automated installations.
To do this, unpack the driver files and run Setup.exe to install
the driver files before attaching the printer to the system.
When the printer is attached, Windows will recognize the device
and install it automatically.
1. If a Swecoin driver was previously installed, please use
the Uninstallation tool located at the top of this page. Alternatively,
you may carefully follow the "Uninstall
& Reinstall of Swecoin Drivers" document in our
knowledge base to prepare for the new installation.
2. Unzip your driver package file.
4. Plug in the printer. Windows will detect and install the
printer automatically.

Note: This driver package requires
firmware 3.50 or higher. Please refer to your product manual
for how to determine your currently loaded firmware version.
If you do not have 3.50 or higher currently installed, upload
version 3.50 (included in the Firmware folder of this package)
first, then install the new driver.
This driver package contains an 2000/XP/2003 driver called
"TTP21x0" and is more advanced than UniTool drivers. For instance,
it prints better images by using gray scale dithering rather
than fixed-pitch raster graphics.
In addition to normal printing, this driver has a "Language
Monitor" that makes it bi-directional so you can retrieve
data back from the TTP21x0. This is necessary because Windows
2000/XP/2003 does not allow bypassing the printer driver
with API calls. So when using a printer
driver without the LM, the printer is mute. Because of the
complexity of programming the LM interface, it is necessary
that you have a good support connection with us. We will give
support if you are a registered user of our NT based driver.
