SWECOIN TTP 7020/7030 THERMAL PRINTER NOW AVAILABLE

MIDDLETOWN, RI -- February 3, 2004 – Swecoin US Inc., the world’s leading designer of small footprint, highly reliable thermal printer solutions, today announced the immediate availability of the TTP7020/7030 thermal printer. Successors of the TTP7000 series, the TTP7020/7030 is the newest addition to the Swecoin family of specialty thermal printers and support 80mm (3.2”) and 112mm (4.5”) wide media.

The TTP7020/7030 offers all the functionality of the TTP7000 series, including the Swecoin patented looping presenter, flip-up mechanism, and a retract-and-retain option. It also features a new pull detector that provides extra protection against paper jams - it detects the moment a customer starts to pull on the printout and then immediately ejects it from the printer. If the customer does not take the printout, the optional retract-and-retain function drops the paper into a waste bin inside the kiosk, preventing littering. The TTP7020/7030 also splits the parallel and USB I/O port – the TTP7020 supports the bi-directional parallel interface and the TTP7030 supports the USB interface.
